The Unique Bioparc Valencia
Bioparc Valencia allows you to immerse yourself in a variety of natural environments. It feel as if you are a part of your surroundings with the animals that live there. Which are close to a thousand animals of 150 different African species. València’s Bioparc is part of a new breed of zoos. Where the barriers between visitors and animals appear to be vanishing. To provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about the African continent and the importance of environmental protection. It recreates numerous wild ecosystems in a naturalistic manner. For instance, the special attention paid to the vegetation, in order to encourage the animals’ complete integration.
What to Expect.
The Bioparc is organized into four main regions and covers an area of nearly 100,000 m2. You will see antelopes, giraffes, and rhinoceros roaming a large savanna. You will explore hyena dens, walk among buffaloes and leopards. Also you will go deep into a dense forest where gorillas roam, as well as follow elephant tracks during your tour. In addition, there is also a 1,000-seat theater with presentations of birds and marine creatures. Moreover, the family entertainment zone has an indoor restaurant and a wide outdoor terrace with views of the African savannah. The complex first opened its doors in 2008, and expansion plans for both Asian and American ecosystems are in the works.
Scheduele Information.
The park is open from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. every day of the year. Opening hours are extended to 20:00 and 21:00 from April to September. Ticket offices close 30 minutes before the park closes, although tickets can also be purchased over the phone or online. Adult tickets cost 23,80 euros, while children’s tickets cost 18 euros (under the age of 12).
